Out of this World Experience

“Katy and Dan at Precision Custom Homes gave us the dream home we always wanted. From start to finish, they made the experience out of this world. If you are looking for a home builder to walk you through each step of the way and has the customer service that you won’t find anywhere else, Precision is for you. I highly recommend Precision Custom Homes. Thank you, Dan and Katy and all of the Precision team, for making our dream come true.” – Andrew Ruttig

Professionalism and Quality

“Building a home on uncleared land with no utilities is a significant endeavor. You will need a builder who has experience dealing with all the intricacies and has the capacity to juggle multiple contractors. Precision Homes has a great team as their foundation to make them a successful home builder. (Larry is fantastic, and they have an amazing group of sub-contractors they work with)

After reviewing several builders, we selected Precision to build a custom home for us in Ball Ground, GA. Precision showed a lot of patience handling our changes to plans, design and updates before and during the construction process. After being in our home the last 5 months, we have not experienced any issues or problems with the construction.” -Tony Voudy, 2020

Kind People, Attention to Detail

“Building a custom home is something we have never done. Starting out the process was intimidating and daunting. Dan and Katy with Precision Custom Homes, along with their great team of people has helped to make this responsibility an organized and smooth one for us. We do not worry because we know we are in good hands. They are careful to pay attention to detail and make sure everything is done right.

As we have been watching the progress, we have been very happy with the quality of workmanship put into our home.  Everyone works together to make sure nothing is left unchecked and all information is communicated correctly. We know this would be much more difficult if we didn’t have the kind of people to work with that we have in Precision Custom Home Builders. We are excited to continue seeing the progress and working with Precision to build our new home!” -Jennifer Nolan

Still Great After a Year

When we build a custom home, we think about the long term. Where other builders might cut corners, we insist on paying attention to the details that will make your home a wonderful place to live for years to come!

“Dan and Katy built us a beautiful custom home to our specifications on a challenging lot.  We’ve been in our home now for nearly a year, and it’s great. We love it!” -Kim Burrow

Responsive, Quality

“Precision Custom Home Builders – where do I even start this review? So many positive things to say about Dan, Katy, Brittany, Tom and the rest of the team. Everyone is so professional and experts in what they do! It’s hard to imagine this level of professionalism even trickling down to their sub-contractors, but it’s true.

My wife and I bought several acres of land last year and met with Dan to discuss options about building our retirement home. We heard about PCHB from several friends of ours, and they had nothing but positive things to say about the company and their processes.

This was our first custom build and Dan was very patient and took the time to explain everything in detail. We never felt rushed in our conversations and he always answered our questions without coming across as being annoyed, like he had somewhere else to be, or making us feel like it was a stupid question.

PCHB is truly a turn-key builder – meaning that we only pay for what was spelled out and included in the final contract. No more no less – no surprises at the end. Dan and Katy took the time to explain this in detail, so we made sure to take our time in the planning/design/architect processes before finalizing the contract. For my wife and I, this took us almost 3 months. We wanted to make sure and include everything we wanted in our home, and it takes time to be forward-thinking and plan out for the future.

fter we finalized the contract and price, we broke ground and things really started to move.  We love the fact that PCHB allowed us to shop around for all of the selections in the allowances section of the contract (appliances, cabinets, flooring, lighting, plumbing fixtures, etc). The contract price includes a line item budget for each of these items, and you can spend as much or little as you want. If more than the contract price, you just pay it out of pocket on your own – which is really nice. I’m sure a lot of couples probably struggle in this area because they can’t agree on selections – but for my wife and I, we really enjoyed it and had a fun time!

At each phase of the building process, we met with Dan and Katy and the sub-contractor for that specialty (IE: Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC, etc) We did a walk-thru and would tell them how/where we wanted things installed. I really can’t say enough about the subs. They were all experts in their field, and everyone was kind and very courteous. There is a lot of building terminology you have to learn along the way, and without exception, everyone was extremely patient with all the questions we had.

All in all, we would definitely use PCHB again to build our “forever” home. The craftsmanship and quality that went into our home is top notch, and the entire experience was just amazing!

If you do your homework upfront and really plan ahead before you start, the custom home building process is definitely a lot of fun!” -Michael Nolan
