“Super awesome!!! The AT starts here! There is a really nice mile or so long hike up to the top of the falls… that path is not super crowded and in at least half the trail the path is wider. At the top of the falls there is a trout stream. There is also a 450-step staircase leading up to the top of the falls. We took this path down, but be aware it is crowded at least on a Saturday afternoon when we went. This is a super fun little gem For some local hiking trips and to start to plan your bucket list trip of doing the AT.” -Nicole from Atlanta
