The Hendricks

The Hendricks -  We constructed this expansive home in the sought after Bent Tree Community in Jasper GA. This home features a rustic front entrance with stonework and exposed beam trusses. The handsome covered front porch was designed with attractive stone flooring and a rustic arched wood paneled front door. Once indoors the hardwood flooring flows throughout the living space. The kitchen features white custom cabinets, stainless steel appliances and a coffered ceiling with recessed lighting.  The kitchen layout flows through the eating area all the way to a set of large retractable doors which open to the outdoor living space. The outdoor living space includes an outdoor fireplace and a two story covered deck overlooking the gorgeous North Georgia Mountains. The covered deck continues to a large open deck for outdoor family entertaining. Off of the kitchen is a mud-room with divided cubicles for easy storage when entering from the garage end of the home. The family room was constructed with an exposed beam vaulted ceiling and a large arched paneled window with a marvelous view.  The home makes use of arches, vaults and semi-circle design elements in its architecture. In the downstairs part of the house is a finished basement area with its own kitchenette. This area can be accessed via the stairway or the built in elevator and opens to the lower area of the outdoor living space.
